SILVER CONNECTIONS is the Premier Socializing Group for those "55 and better" in the Triangle area of North Carolina!  

 We are committed to providing socializing opportunities for single, active adults, age 55+! 

Don't let the word "Silver" fool you! We are a young group of very active adults and the word "senior" does not apply. Our membership is made up of mostly "boomers", both single men and women, looking to meet new friends, participate in events and enjoy an active social life! We believe in living life to its fullest and having fun!   

 Silver Connections is not a large, impersonal group, but a social community where members get to know each other at our events. We don't plan events where you walk in the door and noone greets you or you are just a number in a noisy room with many others. Our members are welcoming and inclusive- cliques are not an option.

 Every detail is planned for you, so all you need to do is pick what events every month you would like to attend (and there are alot to choose from.....8-10 every month!) and ENJOY!  You may choose to attend as many or as few as you would like.  Our events are planned with you in mind - location, cost, convenience and personal service are all top priorities. 

If you are widowed or divorced, how do you go about getting out and meeting others?

   There are many options available for the 20's and 30's crowd and the older adult, but what about the young, active age 55+ individual, who wants to meet others like themselves?    

   How do you find a group that offers security and protection while also offering numerous opportunities to meet others of the same age, socialize, make friends and have fun?  

 You may already have some great friends in the area, but they might be married and spend the majority of their weekends with their spouse.  

Or, you may find yourself working all the time and need to get out more and have fun!  

You may be adjusting to being single after being part of a couple for many years and want to meet others in similar circumstances.  

Some of you may participate in area events, but would like to have them completely planned for you and enjoy them with others like yourself.  

Or, you may have relocated to the area, and want to make a life for yourself in your new home.   

Silver Connections offers 8-10 unique events every month orchestrated throughout the Triangle (please scroll down to the bottom of this page to see examples of some of our past and current events!) including dining, museum tours, theater outings, movies, sporting events, exercise opportunities, Sunday brunch, happy hours, golf, Supper Club, volunteering, seminars, appetizer parties, dancing, new member socials. wine tastings, home parties, member mingles....just to name a few! These activities provide a terrific opportunity to meet like-minded people in a relaxed, pressure-free environment.  Silver Connections members are also offered travel options (local, US and international) as a part of membership.  

  Personal service is always a top priority! The owner offers a complimentary meeting over coffee to meet each potential member, offer a packet of information and answers any questions you may have.  If you decide to join, you are not just a number coming through the door for your first event!

A wonderful benefit that Silver Connections also provides is that with so many events every month, you always have a choice!  You can pick and choose what fits your finances, preferences and schedule. Cost is always taken into account with many discounts arranged and passed on to our members. And, since we are not a matchmaking or dating service, there is never any pressure at our events.
